Egypt will return home from the tournament with a bitter taste in their mouth having arrived at the tournament expecting to put in a much better all round performance.
Saudi Arabia will be disappointed with their opening result but will take solace from the way they reacted putting in an improved performance against Group A winners Uruguay and managing to beat Egypt.
